A rental agreement is accompanied by a supplement to add additional conditions to the existing contract. It is important that all parties (landlords and tenants) sign the document to ensure that they both acknowledge the changes made. Additional time – A period from the date the rent is due, during which the landlord must wait before they can collect a late fee. (The duration of the period must be indicated in the rental agreement and is usually approximately five (5) days.) If you know from the beginning what the requirements are for terminating the rental agreement, you can both prepare for the event and keep the property in a state that facilitates this exit. Remember that disputes over sureties are common.
